La relación entre investigación científica y tecnológica argentina con la política nacional en ciencias: hacia un nuevo paradigma

Resumen
El objeto de la investigación científica es obtener nuevos conocimientos, los que eventualmente podrían contribuir al desarrollo tecnológico de los países. Durante el siglo veinte, Bernardo Houssay y un pequeño número de pioneros, crearon la Asociación Argentina para el Progreso de las Ciencias (AAPC). Finalmente, en 1958 se fundó el Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Ténicas (CONICET). Estas instituciones permitieron que miles de investigadores pudieran investigar, en tiempo completo en diferentes áreas del conocimiento. En este trabajo se analiza el desarrollo de las instituciones mencionadas y se efectúan consideraciones tecnológicas.

Summary
The relationship between Argentinean scientific and technological research and the national science policy: towards a new paradigm
The aim of the scientific research is to obtain new knowledge that could eventually contribute to the technological development of countries. During the twentieth century Bernardo Houssay and a small group of pioneers created the Argentine Association for the Advancement of the Sciences (AAPC). Finally, in 1958 the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) was founded. These institutions allowed thousand of researchers to investigate “full time” in different areas of the knowledge. In this work the development of the mentioned institutions are analyzed from a historical point of view and several technological considerations are commented.
